Wax your boards, the winter is scheduled to arrive on the Washington Coast by Sunday. The storm will move northward and then southward into Idaho, making a bee line for Colorado. This storm extends all the way back to China and covers lots of latitude. It is officially time to put on the snow tires! This is a fast moving storm and will continue to come ashore on the Washington Coast for the next week dumping snow in the Cascades and the Rockies. High winds will bring in blizzard conditions in the Rockies, the Cascades, and The Bitterroots. All areas in the path of the storm will experience similar conditions over the coming week.
